"The hon. Judge Bedford, at a court of Vice-Admiralty, held on Thursday last, was pleased to pass sentence of condemnation in the cause of the American ship Angeronia, from the coast of Africa, bound to Charleston, detained by His Majesty's Princess Charlotte decreeing the said ship and cargo, save the private adventures, to be lawful prize to the captors."
Capt. Bachus informs, that the ship Merchant, of this port, had also been condemned, with her cargo, three or four days before he sailed.
