VETERANS HAVE INSTALLATION OF NEW OFFICERS

Veterans of Foreign Wars of the Horse Plains post met Wednesday night in Hot Springs and officers for the coming year were installed.

The new officers are: Frank Taylor, Plains, Commander; Virgil Pitts, Hot Springs, vice-commander; Austin Warner, Plains, junior vice-commander; E. K. Jameson, Plains, quarter master adjutant; George Wells, Plains, judge advocate, and Roy Countryman, Plains, chaplain.

District Commander A. J. "Tony" Howells acted as installing officer.

Several wives of veterans were present at the meeting, and plans were discussed in connection with forming an auxiliary to the Horse Plains Post.

Mrs. Joe Reagen, state conductress, gave a very interesting talk on women's auxiliaries in other Montana towns.
