Extract of a Letter from on board the Privateer Sloop Paragon, Thomas Hanson, Commander.

Monte Christo, (in Hispaniola) February 18. By this opportunity I acquaint you of my health: but as yet we have met with no success. There are 22 sail of ships loaded and ready to sail from the Cape without any convoy; and there are 12 sail of English privateers lying at the above port, where we can see every Vessel that goes in or out: so that we hope to convoy the whole fleet into some English port; for there are no Privateers out from this place.
