The House District Committee to Be Organized Thursday.
Chairman Babcock, of the District Committee, has issued a call for a meeting of his committee on Thursday when he will organize and appoint subcommittees and distribute among them the various bills that have already been introduced.
The District Commissioners have submitted a bill which Chairman Babcock will introduce tomorrow, making an appropriation of $4,000 to establish an index card system in the Tax Collector's office.
The committee will probably name Wednesday as the regular meeting day.
