BOY AVIATOR MAKES A SPEED RECORD

Max Farnum Fish, the 16 year old aviator made a fast flight from Chicago to Milwaukee today covering the distance of 80 miles in an airplane over two hours. The landing was made in the center of the zoo links at Lake Park where men waved a large string of white canvas as a signal to the aviator to alight. Fish reached Milwaukee just in time as his gasoline was exhausted when he landed. Until Fish neared Milwaukee he flew at a height of 1000 feet but when he got to the city he had to rise some feet in the air to get above the smoke.
