Full Text
A few Days ago at a House at the Northend, the Nurse having left a Child in a Room below, while she went up-stairs, it fell into the Fire, scorch'd its Face and Hands to a great Degree: But what render'd it still more an Object of Commiseration was, a live Coal got down its Back; which was not discovered 'till a considerable Time afterwards when it was undress'd, the Fire having penetrated almost to the Bone.
It is hoped Accidents of this Kind will be a sufficient Inducement to Nurses to be very careful how they leave Children exposed to such Casualties.
