ANCHORAGE, (AP)—An Anchorage couple, tentatively identified as Mr. and Mrs. C. McCandless, were brought unconscious to the Providence Hospital here yesterday after their light plane crashed on the shores of Cook Inlet near Girdwood.

Their condition was said to be critical.

The Tenth Rescue Squadron, which made two trips into the crash scene to evacuate the injured couple, had no details of the accident. It was believed, however, to have occurred during an attempted landing near the couple's fishing camp.
