WOMAN PRESIDENT OF MINE COMPANY

Mrs. Gertie J. Sutherland, of New York, was a visitor in Goldfield this week en route to her home. Mrs. Sutherland is president of the Anson-Nevada Gold Mining corporation, which owns a group of claims at Bonita, Reese River district, 35 miles from Austin. She has 12 men at work on the property and states that that section is rapidly coming to the front in a mining way, many of the old producers which have been closed for a long time having taken on new life and resumed operations.
