EQUITY WILL BUILD ACTORS' HOSPITAL

A hospital to be erected in Hollywood, which will be devoted to the service of actors of the screen and stage, is the plan of Charles Miller, western representative of the Actors' Equity Association. It is a plan which is very near fruition, for Mr. Miller has been working out the details for many months and now has them practically perfected.

So far have his plans progressed that, within a short time, he will be in a position to announce the incorporation of the Equity Relief Foundation, in whose name the hospital will be built and operated.

"There is a need for such an institution in Hollywood," said Mr. Miller. "And I have had the plan in mind for months; in fact, ever since I took charge of the Equity office in June 1928. Of course, there is the Motion Picture Relief Fund, but that, under its rules, can care only for screen players, whereas my plan embraces players of both the screen and stage."
