A return of the killed, wounded, and missing, of the American troops in the attack on Savannah, October 9, 1779.

1st S. Carolina regiment. Killed, 1 serjeant. Wounded, 2 serjeants, 5 privates.

2d do. Killed, 1 Major, 3 subalterns, 1 serjeant, 11 privates. Wounded, 1 Captain, 2 subalterns, 2 serjeants, 19 privates. Missing, 5 privates.

3d do. Killed, 1 Major, 1 serjeant, 10 privates. Wounded, 1 Captain, 2 subalterns, 2 serjeants, 24 privates.

6th do.: Wounded, 1 Captain. Missing, 1 private.

Virginia regiment. Killed, 2 serjeants, 12 privates. Wounded, Lieuts. Parker and Walker, 2 serjeants, 47 privates.

We have not been able to learn the exact loss of our Allies; it is generally said to be about 400 killed and wounded.

The gallant Count Pulaski died at sea, on his return from Georgia, of his wounds; and on Thursday last his funeral rites were performed here, in a manner suitable to the rank and merits of that intrepid and much lamented officer.
