The four day camps of the Butler Street YMCA will open promptly at 9:00 A.M. tomorrow (Monday) June 10th and will operate for period of five weeks. Monday through Friday until July 12th.

LOCATIONS: The locations of the four camps follows: Eastside-Main Building- 22 Butler Street, N. E. Westside-Morris Brown Gymnasium Vine & Hunter Streets. N. W.. (NOTE: THIS IS A CHANGE FROM THE LOCATION ORIGINALLY ANNOUNCED AND ALL WESTSIDE PARENTS ARE URGED TO NOTE THIS CHANGE). Summerhill-630 Fraser St., S. E. College Park-300 N. Conley . MORE THAN 700 BOYS ENROLLED To date for the Camps there is an excess of 700 boys enrolled and it is expected that there will be a total of over 1000 before enrollment closes Monday. June 10th. Parents who have not yet enrolled their boys are urged to take them Monday to one of the specified locations whichever is nearest their home.

WHAT DAY CAMP IS Day Camp is a public service of the Butler Street YMCA designed primarily for working mothers who want their boys supervised during their period out of school. Day Camp begins in the morning with a nassembly and a prayer service at 9:00 o'clock and this is followed by a full day of sports including swimming and special activities for younger boys, picnics, hikes, crafts, trips, including one or two full day outings at the YMCA Camp near Acworth, Georgia. All boys report at 9:00 a. m. and return home at 4:30 in the afternoon. Boys will not be released during the day unless by written permission sent in by parents.
