Union Backs Manning.

Union, May 6. The county Democratic convention met here today, Macbeth Young being elected chairman and W. W. Colton secretary. The delegates to go to the State convention were instructed to uphold President Wilson in his every action. A resolution was passed commending Gov. Manning for his faithfulness and loyalty. The delegates are Macbeth Young, W. W. Johnson, C. A. Jeter, Dr. H. T. Hames, John Little, J. Boyd Lancaster.

The meeting was quiet and passed off without a hitch.
