Full Text

The Court of Appeal, Dublin, on Dec. 14, reversed, as regards the majority of the defendants, the decision of the vice-chancellor granting an ad interim injunction restraining certain merchants carrying on business in Clones and others from interfering with the right of Sir Thomas Leonard to the tolls of the Clones market.

The decision of the court was based on the fact that the defendants against whom the injunction that had been granted was not dissolved had not done anything to interfere with the plaintiff's rights at all events until the plaintiff's representative, the weighmaster, had refused to perform his statutory duty.
