Robinson. a World War II veteran; was at home Sunday night when he got a call from officials at Tifereth Israel Northside Center that his ticket had been drawn and would he come over and get his car. Robinson rushed over to the Center, was presented the keys and title to the car and made an acceptance speech that all present said was one of the best they had heard.
Said Robinson: "The three greatest thrills in my life were 1) When Uncle Sam sent me my Greeting that I was to fight for my country. (2) When my wife accepted my proposal and (3) When I got your call that I had won this car."
Mrs. Rosa Roher, wife of the proprietor of Jax 5 and 10 Store and an officer in the Center, said everyone was happy about Robinson's good luck-Photo by Johnson.
