Full Text

ALL UNIONS HELP

"Mr. Hatfield, for instance, is a member of three guilds-Actors Equity, the American Guild of Musical Artists and the American Federation of Radio Artists. All these unions have supplied us with many top-notch artists. The American Federation of Radio Artists has given us the cream of radio entertainers. Actors Equity has come through with stars of the dramatic stage. The Screen Actors Guild has marched a steady procession of movie stars into our camp shows. The American Federation of Musicians has permitted us to use big name bands.

"The Stagehands' Union, the American Guild of Variety Artists, the agents' and managers' union have all been more than co-operative with us in putting on our shows at military posts.

"The U.S.O. is determined to give our men in uniform the best there is in the way of entertainment and I know that the entertainers themselves and their unions will continue to give us every assistance."
