—The employees of the finishing department of the American Corset Manufacturing Company, Friday evening visited the residence of Miss Annie Heptonstall, No. 85 South street, and presented to her an elegant cake basket and other testimonials of their esteem. Miss H. has been employed by the Company for nearly four years past, but has recently severed her connection to embark upon another voyage. The presentation speech was made by Mr. Geo. W. Davis, bookkeeper of the establishment, and the evening's festivities were pleasantly enjoyed by all who participated.
