KILLED BY LIGHTNING. - We learn that
last Saturday during the heavy thunder shower
a young woman named Ellen Rone, aged
about nineteen years, living at Lakeville, Dakota
county, was killed by lightning. It seems
her father was at work near the house, and
when it commenced to rain she started out to
carry his coat to him. Shortly after her father
returned to the house, having seen nothing of
her, but had heard her call to him once or
twice. Their fears were excited and search
was made at once, resulting in finding her
lifeless body not far from the house, having
been instantly killed by lightning.
