Installation of officers for the year 1920 and initiation of 20 new members were the features of the meeting of the Ira L. Cater Camp, Veterans of the Foreign Wars, which was held Wednesday evening, January 7, in the council chambers at the city hall.
The new officers installed are: W. W. Rogers, commander; I. Shuiar, senior vice commander; Neil Kohler, junior vice commander; J. Grant Hinkle, adjutant; E. A. McClarty officer of the day; R. G. Duvall, quartermaster sergeant; Roy Bill, bugler; Clifford Farrington, color bearer; L. H. Howey, sentinel; Clyde McKenzie, outer guard; O. U. Tetro, chaplain; W. A. McClarty, O. U. Tatro and J. Grant Hinkle, trustees.
The officers of the camp announce that they took in $195 from the dance which they gave at the Red Cross hall at Tumwater, December 27. This money will be used to aid members of the camp who are incapacitated because of service in the recent world war.
