OHIO JUDICIARY.

The legislature of Ohio, by some blunders in new modelling the judiciary, have occasioned the issuing of conflicting commissions to judges. This has given rise to the following disgraceful scene in one of the counties in that state.

'The court commenced its session on Tuesday and proceeded without interruption, until Thursday morning, when Judge Snowden appeared and took his seat. The court was not yet opened. A warm altercation immediately took place between judge Snowden and the President Judge Dunlavy, respecting Snowden's right; which was terminated by an order to the sheriff for the removal and confinement of Mr. Snowden, for disturbing the court. The sheriff did not obey. The president called for the coroner, and ordered him to commit the sheriff for disobedience. After the coroner had committed the Sheriff, and returned to court, he was ordered to take Mr. Snowden into custody, and if necessary, to command assistance. Judge Snowden refusing to leave the bench, the coroner commanded four of the by-standers to assist him; two of them utterly refused their aid and were fined three dollars each by the court; the third was excused on account of his age; the fourth obeyed his summons, and the judge, after much violent exertion, was dragged from the bench and taken to a place of confinement.'
