A few days ago two Gentlemen of Drogheda, falling out on an imaginary affront, the one a married man, who had a large family, the other a bachelor, the bachelor challenged the married man, on which he received for answer that if he would sign a bond to support his wife and family, if he should be killed, he would immediately fight him, as then he would be upon equal terms, otherwise he must excuse him; which precaution was the means of making up the affair, and now not any two are greater friends.
