Littleton, N. C., Aug. 16th. An accident with no one seriously injured, occurred here Monday morning at 7:30 o'clock at Five Points Service Station, in the edge of town, on Highway 48.
A car belonging to J. N. Johnson, and driven by Tom Shearin, colored, and the car of W. T. Person, Seaboard Agent here, who resides at Macon and was on his way to work, ran together. The car of Mr. Person's was badly damaged and Mr. Person was injured, receiving severe cuts about the head and bruises on his arms and legs. He was treated by Dr. Falmer and able to proceed to his office for the days work.
Riding in the car with Mr. Person at the time of the accident, was Miss Delma Bobbitt of Littleton R. F. D and Perry Brown and Dan Barnes of Vaughan who escaped injury, only receiving a general shake up.
The driver, Tom Shearin, and car of Mr. Johnson escaped without serious injury.
