NEWS for the voters in Mr. Cutts' Congressional District.

The following dignified and true statement was made by Mr. Clay, in his speech in Congress in answer to Mr. Quincy.

"An honorable member from Massachusetts had lost his election by the cry of French influence (Mr. Cutts.) The premises they assumed were these, that he had married the sister of Mr. Madison, whose husband was a particular friend of Mr. Jefferson, who some years since wore red breeches; these premises were conclusive as to the facts which were publicly asserted everywhere, that Mr. Cutts was own cousin to Bonaparte, and of course a dangerous man in the councils of the nation."
