Find $4,300 In Injured Woman's Girdle

Washington, D. C.-(ANP)-An injured woman, who was unable to tell police what happened to her last week, was found lying almost unconscious on the street with $4,300 tucked away in her girdle.

Mrs. Annie Thomas, according to police, had apparently fallen and fractured her skull.

At Casualty hospital, where her condition was described as critical, it was found that she had thirty-eight $100 bills and ten $50 bills in her girdle. The hospital notified the police.

Police said her husband is a Pullman porter.
