THE PARENT-TEACHER ASSOCIATIONS
The Parent-Teacher Associations of the community are becoming more and more a valuable asset. Far from being merely a social organization, they are providing programs of real value to those who attend.
It is easy enough to provide an ordinary program but it takes time and thought to work out one that will actually profit those who attend. The program chairman of Greenwich associations are presenting programs of value not only to parents but to others.
Greenwich has live wire organizations. They show themselves constantly alert to the needs of the entire town as well as the schools. Their Parent-Teacher Council, composed of representatives from all the associations, acts as a sort of clearing house and is itself a most valuable organization
There have been some remarkable strides since the associations were first formed here. Today finds them well established and an integral part of the community.-Greenwich Press.
