From Madrid we learn, That the Spanish Court, in a Pannick upon the Arrival of the British Squadron upon their Coasts, has ordered the Flotilla for Vera Cruz, not to depart 'til the Month of June, 1739; lest Reprizals should be made upon them for their manifold Plundering and unjust Depredations committed upon our Ships in the American Seas; and for the same Reasons, two Advice Boats are dispatched away in all haste to their Governors in the Indies not to hazard the Return of the Galleons 'til the next Year, lest they should meet an incensed English Admiral in their Way.
