Event Details
A motion was made for an injunction to stop payment of money held by Mr. Tattersall to the trustees of the Duchess of Kingston from the sale of the late Duke's horses, dogs, etc., on grounds of her being an executrix by false pretences and indicted for felony. The Lord Chancellor remarked that no indictment existed against her, as it was against non-existent Elizabeth Chudleigh, and ordered payment to trustees.
