The very useful and important information, contained in the letter of Mr. Wade to Lodge Morris, Esq. and late published by order of the Dublin Society, on the subject of the analysis of Irish oak bark, has been so well received by the public, that we hear the above chemist is now engaged in analysing American oak bark, and on which he is said already to have made such discoveries, as are likely to prove of considerable consequence to the art of tanning; and which we doubt not he will communicate to the society--with the same laudable motive, as marks the whole tenor of his first letter.
