250 WOMEN AT POLIO MEET

Columbus,-Statewide plans to provide communities with reassuring factual information about polio was initiated in Columbus this week at a day-long conference of leading women volunteers, it was announced today by Mrs. R. G. DeArment, State Advisor on Women's Activities of the National Foundation for Infantile Paralysis.

More than 250 women were expected to attend the polio information preparedness meeting which opened Monday morning at the Seneca Hotel. The volunteer leaders will include state presidents of women's organizations, community leaders in the Mothers' March on Polio, and women's committee members of county chapters of the National Foundation.
