If you're a bride who is going on a honeymoon or one of the lucky ones who will take a trip this season, it's important how you pack beauty essentials. They will make the difference between a pretty traveler and a tired, wind-swept one.

With so many beauty aids in the smaller sizes and neat zippered cases with plastic squeeze bottles you can take along a lot without exceeding space or weight allowances. All make-up can be kept in a zippered case which is as easy to carry as a purse so it can sit beside you in car, train or plane.

Pack It Wisely

Use small-sized items in your beauty packet, starting with hair brush and comb, pin curlers, solid-powder compacts to prevent spill-overs, and all creams and lotions in small sized squeeze or spray bottles.

Short hair for the summer months is favored by many as shown in this casual style in which two-inch length hair is all pushed up and forward.

There's a three pointed bang in front with a suggestion of bangs. It's an easy style to keep controlled.

Carry a deep pore cleanser in a tube or bottle with an easy squirt top, and let this suffice for all face cleaning needs. A light rich hand lotion doubles as a foundation cream, and nail polish removers can also treat the cuticle.

Keep the sun tan lotion right in pocket or purse. You want to have this with you at all times and it may not be accessible in a cosmetic bag.

Cotton squares or balls are easy to take along because they're light and sanitary. Use them as lotion, powder and cologne applicators. They might even come in handy for cleaning a cut or scratch.

Pamper Feet

Feet on the go should be beauty treated while vacationing if you're going to enjoy traveling to the utmost. Give them a soaking in tub or bucket every evening when it's possible, then lightly rub with a pumice stone. Spray with deodorant cologne, witch hazel or rub with alcohol after the soaking.
