THE SEWERAGE PROBLEM,
Mr. Andrew Rosewater, expert sewerage engineer, and city engineer of Omaha, who met our mayor and council last evening, called yesterday. We found Mr. R. a very intelligent gentleman who had given much study to the different systems of sewering of every possible position and topography, from the city of Holland whose streets are lower than the dykes to cities occupying steep and precipitous locations. Mr. R. had looked our city over casually and he said that he thought we would find but little trouble in obtaining a good and effective sewerage system at minimum cost.
