Incomplete Reports Show Greater Henderson Event Financial Success
The Lions Club held its weekly meeting at the Vance hotel last night with an incomplete report of the Greater Henderson Exposition, of which the club sponsored, given, and Clyde L. Finch presented in an entertaining skit.
The attendance prize went to Pat Hight, and A. C. Hoover won the drawing.
Sam Alford, chairman of the Greater Henderson Exposition, gave an incomplete report of the big show, which closed a week of fun and entertainment last Saturday night. Indications point to the event being a financial success, and the proceeds will be used by the club for furtherance of blind work, particularly in prevention of blindness.
W. O. Langley had charge of the program, and presented C. L. Finch in his impersonation of Amos 'n' Andy, of radio fame.
