Full Text

October 31.

The most recent accounts from Europe, are by an arrival at Halifax. At the latest date there were no prospects of a general peace. The English having changed the object of their warfare, appear now determined to contend for indemnification. An hundred millions expended, and all for nought, is a serious business with Mr. John Bull; and the only hope of indemnification, is the delusive one of an attack on the Spanish settlements in South America. The English have always considered a Spanish war, as a ready money war.
