Little Mr. or Miss Palmer of 1959 will be the recipient of a number of valuable gifts through a New Year Baby Contest being sponsored by the Valley Hospital Association. The first baby born at Valley Presbyterian Hospital will receive a variety of gifts after midnight tomorrow night which have been donated by local merchants.
Among gifts which have already been offered the Auxiliary for their contest are: A $5 gift certificate from Betty's; a $10 savings account from the Matanuska Valley Bank; a floral arrangement from Maud's Flowers; one year subscription from The Frontiersman; a $5 gift certificate from Valley People's Store; $5 gift certificate from Reed's Hardware; $10 certificate from Palmer Drug; $10 certificate from Matanuska Valley Farmers Co-operating Association; $5 cash from Palmer Automotive; $5 cash Mac's Plumbing and Heating; $2 Avon product certificate from Vera Hayes; $5 laundry certificate from Pearl White Laundry; and a certificate from Bert's Drug Store. $5 certificate from Thrifty Variety and a gift certificate from Koslosky's Department Store.
