By the Ships lately arrived from England several Letters have been received, advising, that our Agent, Jasper Mauduit, Esq; had obtained from the Treasury our Proportion of the Parliamentary Grant for 1760. and that he had succeeded in his Application for a Reimbursement, on Account of the extraordinary Expence this Province had been at in continuing a Number of their Troops at Nova Scotia, Louisbourg and Crown Point, during that Winter,...also that he was paying those Bills drawn by Harrison Gray. Esq; Treasurer of the Province, on our late Agent, which remained unpaid, as well as others that were presented.
