Ships lately arrived from England brought letters advising that agent Jasper Mauduit had obtained from the Treasury the province's proportion of the Parliamentary Grant for 1760 and succeeded in application for reimbursement on account of extraordinary expense in continuing troops at Nova Scotia, Louisbourg, and Crown Point during that winter; also paying bills drawn by Harrison Gray, Esq;, Treasurer, on the late agent, which remained unpaid, as well as others presented.
