Paris, June 2. M. de Vaultrier being willing to Shew a Mark of the Joy he had in the Recovery of Cardinal Fleury, caused a solemn Te Deum to be sung during all the last Month in every Parish of his Seigneurie, and Fireworks to be play'd off.

This Gentleman has a Son twelve Years old, who is a Student at the Military School of Strasburg, and passes for a Miracle; he understands many Languages, is well vers'd in History, Geography, Mathematicks, and Musick. The King has lately given him a considerable Gratuity for having maintain'd a publick Examination in Mathematicks, highly to the Approbation of the Officers of the Garrison, and all who were present.
