C. Lawrence Huerta, Tribal attorney, has resigned to accept an appointment by Arizona Governor Paul Fannin as Commissioner for the Industrial Commission of Arizona. This appointment will be for six years, and was effective March 26.
In a letter to Chairman Paul Jones, Huerta stated that he wished to express his appreciation for the many courtesies extended to him by Tribal officers during the last seven years. The association and experience gained has proven most beneficial and satisfying.
