FOR SENIOR BALL
AT J-HIGH FRIDAY
Winterland will be the theme of the Senior Ball to be held Friday night in Juneau High School gym at 9 o'clock.
Jerry Nottingham's orchestra will furnish the music for the occasion. Evergreens will be featured in the decorating theme according to Sheila MacSpadden, committee chairman. A huge snow fort will be built at one end of the gym and refreshments will be served by a titanic snowman at the other end. Panoramic scenes of Alaskan mountains and glaciers will cover the sidewalls of the gym and refreshment tables are to be screened from the dance floor by a bank of fluffy snow clouds.
Exciting entertainment is planned for the intermission.
The dance is given by the Class of 1949.
Charles McClellan is president of the class and Joseph Shofner is class advisor. All alumni, students and parents of students are welcome to this big affair.
