People To People

As an outgrowth of our United Nations for the year just past, (1960) there was a great deal of interest expressed that a People to People Committee be formed.

A preliminary meeting was held at the Methodist Church in Newington, on Jan. 31. Twenty-five attended this meeting.

The next meeting will be held on Feb. 28 at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church on 1655 Main St., Newington.

Since the People to People Committee is an outgrowth of the United Nations Committee, it is requested that various churches and organizations send representatives to the meeting on Feb. 28.

The Rev. Dwight Kitner, Pastor of the Newington Methodist Church, will assist by showing slides taken while he and his family were in India.

Let us make a date for Feb. 28.
