Republicans Hold a Mass Meeting at Bennett's Opera House.

Special Dispatch to the Standard.

MISSOULA, Oct. 20.—The Republican club assembled early this evening in uniforms and with torchlights to meet Colonel Botkin, who was expected on the evening train, and with Governor Rickards, who had already arrived, was expected to speak at the opera house. The train was late, and the club did not meet the colonel. The Twenty-fifth infantry band had been engaged and was on hand, also a crowd at the opera house, and they were addressed by Lieutenant Governor Rickards for more than an hour. About 9:30 the train brought Colonel Botkin, who was escorted to the hall and made a short address.
