George M. LeCount Says Kansas Will Have 66,000,000 Bushels Wheat.

Chicago, May 27.-Final summary of the Kansas crop prospect as made by George M. LeCount to Finley Barrell estimates the state good for a winter wheat yield of 66,000,000 bushels from 4,500,000 acres. According to the government figures of May 1, the prospect in Kansas was for a crop of just a trifle below 50,000,000 bushels and an acreage of 4,027,000 acres.

Of other Kansas crops LeCount says:

"Oats in splendid condition. Corn planting about finished. There is a very large acreage of corn in Kansas this year, as two-thirds of abandoned wheat acreage was planted to corn."
