COLLEGE STATION, RALEIGH,
June 14.-Home Demonstration club women of Hyde county, who were only recently organized in rural club work, have donated $18 to the Jane S. McKimmon Loan Fund, it was announced today by Miss Pauline Smith, northeastern district home agent of the State College Extension Service. The donation was from small voluntary contributions made by club women at meetings in May.
The Jane S. McKimmon Loan Fund is operated by the State Federation of Home Demonstration Clubs and the State Association of County Home Demonstration Agents, to provide loans to worthy farm girls for a college education. It was named in honor of Dr. Jane S. McKimmon, pioneer home demonstration worker who is an assistant director of the Extension Service.
