This battle, which will transpire under the floodlights at Poncey Park is sponsored by organized groups of Atlanta war workers, for the benefit of the War Workers Recreation Fund. Atlanta sports fans will welcome this opportunity to see the nation's No. 1 service team in action, and indications point to a record breaking crowd of 15,000 fans. This game was booked by the war workers, who were anxious to see more night football, and much credit for the encounter is due the Morehouse College athletic authorities, for their consent to furnish the opposition.

Captain Charles R. Houghland has come thru with another fine team this year, which is built around Macon Williams, former Florida A & M College All-American. The Fort Benning backfield has a plenty of speed and can really go places. Among the Army stars, well-known in the Gate City and slated for action in the Fort Benning line-up are: Arthur Lacey, (Clark); "Porky" Smith, (Morehouse); Bruce Mackay, John "Honey" Smith, John H. Turver, (Morris Brown); and Donice "Skin" Harris, of Booker T. Washington High School.
