Feb. 27. It is confidently asserted at the west end of the town that several Commoners will be made Peers at the rising of the Parliament, that several promotions will be made in his Majesty's army and navy, and that the following changes will certainly take place:

Earl Temple, first Lord of the Treasury.
The Duke of Grafton, Lord Privy Seal.
Right Hon. George Grenville, Esq; Secretary of State.
Lord North, Keeper of the Wardrobe.
Earl of Sandwich, first Lord of the Admiralty.
Sir G. Weymouth, an Irish Peer, and Joint Postmaster.
Lord Hillsborough, Cofferer.
Lord Musters, Envoy and Plenipotentiary to Turin.
Richard Rigby, Esq; sole Paymaster.
Thomas Tandy, Esq; Vice Treasurer of Ireland.
W. G. Homan, Esq; Vice Treasurer of Ireland.
Lord Charles Somerset, Comptroller of the Household.
Aug. Harvey, Esq; Lord of the Admiralty.
Lord Sackville, Lord of the Bedchamber.
Lord Geo. Savage, Treasurer of the Navy.
Henry Seymour, Esq, Lord of the Treasury.
Earl of Camden, retire on his pension.
Earl of Shaftesbury, to resign.
Earl of Albemarle, to resign.
Sir Edward Hawke, made a Peer, and retire on his pension.
G. Pitt, Esq; to be a Peer.
G. Cooke, to resign.
Col. James Bland, to resign.
John Shy, Esq; to resign, and continue Clerk of the Pipe.
Earl of Denbigh, to resign, and continue Master of the Fox Hounds.
Lord Howe, to resign, and be made an Admiral.
Pryce Campbell, Esq; to resign.
