Yellow Fever.
Dallas, Tex., 29. There is much excitement throughout the state about yellow fever in Matamoras, and an unconfirmed report it exists in Brownsville.
The disease is spreading in Mexico.
The following was issued this morning:
Hon. Thomas Carson:
If yellow fever is in Matamoras, declare quarantine at once. Place Dr. Cobb in charge and give him a guard.
State troops will picket all the rivers.
In case of an epidemic keep me well informed.
By order of the governor. R. M. Swerington, health officer
