KINGSTON, Nov. 9. On Saturday last a negro woman, apparently dead, was found lying on a dung-hill near the parish house in Spanish Town; the Coroner being made acquainted with it, immediately summoned a jury, who, on examining the body, bro't in their verdict natural death. After the inquest had retired, a sensible negro fellow, belonging to Dr. Reynolds, who had been bred to physic, passing that way, had the curiosity to examine the body, and finding it much swelled with the dropsy, took out a lancet and made a puncture in the abdomen, from which the water flowed pretty plentifully. Shortly after the supposed corpse rose upon its legs, and bestowed a thousand blessings on the fellow who had preserved her life, proceeded upon her business.
