Yesterday morning the Right honourable William Pitt came from his seat at Hayes, to Lord Temple's house in Pall Mall. At noon he attended his Majesty's Levee at St. James's, and was there a considerable time. After dinner he set out again for Hayes. From the circumstances of his going to Court, and his having been in town last week, the report continues to gain ground, that a change in the administration is certainly on the Carpet. All good men wish it were accomplished; for till it is, there are no hopes of putting the affairs of our country on a proper and respectable footing, which the very critical situation of things both at home and abroad, so urgently demands.

Lord Sandwich was also at the Levee, but did not stay.
