Full Text
President Eisenhower
President Eisenhower appeals to the people to support the Constitution as a patriotic duty. We appeal to President Eisenhower to support the Constitution as an oath of office. The "consequences" to the nation are fomented by the "illegal encroachment upon our (the States') sovereign powers" by the U. S. Supreme Court, and the subsequent arrogant edicts and implementations. When government by men is substituted for government by law serious consequences are to be expected. An honorable, legal, constitutional defense can be expected by Virginians, and millions of other Americans who understand the meaning and intent of The Constitution.
