Full Text

How confident some men are.

A late federal print talks, with considerable warmth, of harmonizing the government, while it recommends the election of men who are diametrically opposed to the government. Is not this pretty harmony?

Not long since the people were called by the federalists, 'an ignorant and unprincipled rabble;' but now, to carry a point, and finding they cannot succeed by threats, they begin to court the favour of the people. Take care, gentlemen, if you shift your grounds so often, even this same 'ignorant rabble' will discover your plots, and leave you to your own destruction.
