WASHINGTON, (AP)
The House Appropriations Committee recommended today that the Fish and Wildlife Service be permitted to try financing administration of the Pribilof Islands from proceeds of fur sales.

The Pribilofs, in the Bering Sea, are the rearing grounds for 80 per cent of the world's fur seals.

Fish and Wildlife Service spokesmen had estimated income from the seals during the current fiscal year ending June 30, will total $2,690,000. Of this they propose to spend $1,132,000 during the 12 months beginning July 1.
