AGREEMENT REACHED
ON COHO PRICES

R. J. Ingle, secretary of Local 100, United Trollers of Alaska, Wrangell, reported today that an opening price on cohoes of 15 cents had been reached by buyers and fishermen at a meeting in Juneau Wednesday. The season opens July 1. If conditions warrant a change in price, agreement was reached to reopen negotiations between July 20 and 25, Ingle said. A price of 12 cents for iced cohoes will prevail until July 7.

Attending the meeting with Secretary Ingle from Wrangell was Lee Holderman. Juneau, Sitka and Craig, were represented, the latter two by proxy. Ketchikan and Petersburg had sent no representatives.

Industry was represented by Kaylor & Dahl, New England Fish, Rupert Fish, Northern Products and Vida Food Companies.
